Does your body feel stiff and rigid making every day feel a little bit tougher than it should? One of the most overlooked areas of fitness is flexibility and engagement in a well-structured regular flexibility routine will help to free up those tight spots and allow freedom and ease of movement.

This class incorporates a combination of static stretching with activation and movement challenges to promote the development of flexibility.

50 minute classes incorporating:

  • Utilising a combination of isolated stretches and yoga postures to develop whole body strength and flexibility
  • Specific muscular activation during stretches to enhance the development of flexibility in focused areas of the body
  • Stretching techniques to allow the body to release tension that may be restricting range of motion

Suitable for: These classes are perfect for over 50s looking to improve flexibility. Stretches can be adapted to suit ability and classes can be done at your own level.
